Raw Resources + Production

This is a general overview of Raw resources obtained from industry jobs. Raw Resources are processed into usable goods. I.E. Crude ore into steel stock. Crude being the Raw Resource.

Mining:

• Crude Ore: Base resource that can be processed in bulk to obtain a variety of alloys

  • Lead

    • Used in electronics, ammunition, and other general goods.

  • Copper

    • Used in electronics.

  • Steel stock

    • Used to manufactuer metalic items. Can also be further refined into higher grades of steel.

      • Stainless Steel

        • Stainless Steel Sheets & Fasteners

      • Tool Steel

        • Tooling and equipment. Used in firearms and machinery production.

  • Brass

    • Used to manufacture ammunition as well as mechanical devices.

• Carbon Ore: Can be used as an additive when smelting alloys such as steel or titanium.

  • Carbon Powder

    • Combined with potassium nitrate to create gunpowder

• Lithium Ore: Can be processed into raw lithium.

  • Raw Lithium

    • Used to create electric vehicle batteries, lithium AAA batteries, and electronics.

• Silicone Ore: Can be processed into Raw Silicone

  • Raw Silicone - Used to manufacturer high-end electronic devices.

• Gold Ore: Can be smelted into Gold Ingot and used for jewelry, high end electronics, or combined with chemicals for other processing tasks.

• Vanadium Ore: Vanadium Ore is rich in trace amounts of titanomagnetite, used to produce Titanium via Kroll processing.

  • Titanium

    • Used for manufacturing high end metalic items, firearms, and vehicle parts such as performance motors and fittings.

• Sand: Used as a consumable across many production tasks. Sand is used for molding, binding, polishing, etc. It is estimated that over 500KG of Sand is used daily by the factories within San Andreas.

Lumber:

• Raw Lumber: Raw lumber is the early stage of the lumber resource. Raw lumber is forested by those within the lumber career. It can then be sawn and processed into the following:

  • Woodchips

    • Used as a consumable for burning, such as furnaces for smelting. It is also used to produce Plywood.

  • 2x4 Framing Lumber

    • Used for construction tasks, such as building structures on properties. (Plot building)

  • Plywood

    • Used for construction tasks, such as building structures on properties. (Plot building)

  • Hardwood

    • Used for furnishing/building (Wood is required to use the furniture system. NO you do not have the lumber career, however you must interact/purchase wood from either a player store or directly from a logging company in order to build.)

Oil & Gas:

• Crude Oil: Crude oil can be refined into Refined Oil. It may then be pyrolyzed into a variety of fuel types, plastics, or turned into lubricants such as lube and motor oil.

  • Refined Oil

    • Fuel

      • Used to make your vehicles go vroom.

    • Plastics

      • Plastics are used in the fabrication of almost every product. Including but not limited to vehicle parts, firearms, electronics, medical supplies, or industrial equipment.

    • DW-80

      • DW-80 is a spray lubricant that is used as a consumable product within many industries. For example, DW-80 is used heavily in steel rolling operations while making round steel or fasteners. It is also widely used by mechanics for installation or refurbishment of vehicles.

• Methane Gas

  • Methane is used primarily as a consumable in commercial stoves and appliances.

  • Methane is also used as an inert gas in welding and fabrication operations.

Chemical:

• Chemical Solvent: This is the base Raw Used in a wide variety of industries. From production of edible substances (Imitation crab) to sophisticated compounds.

  • Calcium Hydroxide

    • Used to concoct Immersion gold for the fabrication of PCB components. Calcium Hydroxide also has a large presence as a precursor to the manufacturing of Cocaine.

  • Acetone

    • Used as a cleaning agent as well as a component for aircraft tasks, such as painting. Acetone is also heavily sought after for the clandestine manufacturing of methamphetamine. It is also used within the smelting world to increase temperatures while synthesizing alloys.

  • Ammonia Nitrate

    • Used as a fertilizer. Ammonia Nitrate is also used as an ingredient to create explosive substances.

  • Anhydrous Ammonia

    • Used in the chemical and fertilization industry. Its use has been widely banned in San Andreas, though it has continued to be used as a refrigerant within commercial/industrial buildings. It is stored in large tanks outside of 3 legacy plants within San Andreas.

  • Ethanol

    • Used for cleaning and fuel. Also widely used for manufacturing Methamphetamine.

  Postal Service:

  • Postage Stamps: While working the career of a government postal worker is mundane and a bit under paid, at least you get to collect some pretty awesome postage stamps along the way.. Right?

    • Postage stamps are traded heavily on the online market. As of recently, it has also been growing in popularity as a form of currency on the "dark web".

    • Spoiler - Any serious criminal organization has a contact at the postal office..... You'll have to find out why in game!
